THE DEVOURING HORDE

The year is 1501 DR, Deep in the waning days of Autumn.
Across the Sword Coast, granaries should be bursting with grain, fields should be golden with harvest, and villages should be preparing for their winter feasts. But this year… the air tastes of iron. The wind carries the distant echo of gnashing teeth and claws rending flesh.  And beneath the Greenfields, something ancient and ravenous has broken free

Whispers spread from farmstead to farmstead: livestock found torn to pieces, barns painted in symbols of teeth and claw. Trade roads fall silent. Wolves flee the woods. Priests of Chantea and Lathander report visions of  a great maw opening beneath the earth, swallowing the planes in endless hunger.

Will the world be Devoured or will heroes arise? 

CHARACTER CREATION
Players will create a level 16 Character. 

Players MUST use Standard Array or Point Buy

Players May use Any Character options that appear in any first party 5e book from wizards of the coast and Take Fixed hit points.

Players can select one Very Rare magical item and 3 others of Rare Rarity or less

If you chose a background that has no feat, add a feat from the 2024 origin feat list.

Unearthed Arcana and homebrew will not be used.

​Meet the DM:  Hello my name is Andrew and I have been deeply immersed in DND lore and games for over twenty years.  I began running my own games in 2022 and I love to run my games via the adage that anything can be attempted.  I want to provide a welcoming and accepting game where veterans and New players can both thrive as we tell this story together.  Great games are made possible by open and clear communications between the players and the DM so please do ask if you have any questions or concerns.

Youth must be age 8-12 to be part of the Owlbear Cub Flock.

My name is Kesha, and I have been playing D&D 5E since 2020. I believe in the power of storytelling and love conjuring up fantastic character ideas, crafting immersive stories, and planning mischief.
