The mists arrive without warning. They coil through the trees and streets alike, swallowing sound and softening the world into something distant and uncertain. Those who wander too far, or linger too long in places better left behind, find the road no longer leads where it should. Landmarks shift, shadows stretch unnaturally, and the air grows heavy with the sense that something unseen has taken notice. It is said that beyond the veil of fog lie domains untouched by mercy, where the past festers and the land itself remembers every sin.

You have all felt it, in one way or another. A dream that lingered too long, a chill that refused to fade, a whisper just at the edge of hearing. Now the mists have come for you, curling at your feet and urging you forward into a place that does not wish to be known. Somewhere ahead, something waits, patient and watchful, as though it has been expecting you all along. And once you step beyond the threshold, the only certainty is this: not all who enter the mists are ever meant to leave... and this realm of horror that you will soon find yourself will be like none other

This one shot marks the beginning of a new chapter, the opening toll of a bell that will echo throughout the coming Season of Horror. What lies beyond this first step is a descent into darker tales, where courage will be tested and fear will take many forms. Steel yourself and step forward with open eyes, for the mists do not yield to the faint of heart.

What to Expect: 

Youth are expected to create and update their own characters in advance following these guidelines. 

Youth must be age 13-17 to be part of the Gryffon Guard.  

Players MUST use Standard Array or Point Buy when making their characters. 

Players may use character options that appear in the following sources:  

Youth will be expected to provide their own set of dice and to create and update their own character

The campaign module for Phandelver and Below will be mildly modified.

Red Claw Gaming will be hosting a Lorcana Championship event. Due to changes in Ravensburger policy we cannot run a separate youth division (under 14), however we offer a $25 Red Claw gift card to the highest placed youth in the event.

Players are required to bring a legal 60 card constructed deck to the event. Players will play a minimum of four rounds. Each round will be the best of three format. Rounds will be 55 min long. All Lorcana Tournament rules will be in effect for this event. No player can get advice from spectators at any time during their games.

Doors will open at 10am for a 11:00 sharp start time. All store rules are still in effect for this event, anyone found to be in violation of those rules may be asked to leave the event.
