Icewind Dale Rime of the Frost Maiden

We come to the Forgotten Realms of Faerun, north of the Spine of the World and west of the Towering Reghed Glacier is a frigid expanse few dare to explore, let alone inhabit. This icy Land of windswept tundra Recently became locked into a Perpetual dark winter without reprieve, this land is cursed by Auril the Frostmaiden, the divine embodiment of winter’s fury. She has passed through the Divine gate and brought forth her Everlasting Rime to herald forth an icy age of frozen domination.

Like the Famous Drow Hero Drizzt Do’Urden many people who come to the Ten-Towns of Icewind dale are Outcasts, Fugitives or Pariah’s in search of a place where they can be tolerated if not accepted, some came here determined to make their fortunes, others come for the solitude, or to escape notice and stay out of the reach of the law of the sword coast. Regardless of what brought you here, you along with all the other cursed denizens of this frozen land are trapped here unless something can be done about the Everlasting Rime.

Every Player Begins with Cold weather Gear in addition to the Basic equipment and gold from your character Class and Background.

Deadly Secret. Every player may draw from a deck of potentially deadly secrets that will tie them to the land of icewind Dale

Meet the DM: Hello my name is Andrew and I have been deeply immersed in DND lore and games for over twenty years. I began running my own games two years ago and I love to run my games via the adage that anything can be attempted. I want to provide a welcoming and accepting game where veterans and New players can both thrive as we tell this story together.

**Players who leave the draft early (drop) are not eligible for prizes and will not be permitted to participate in the next draft**

This event will be run in a draft format.  Each player will be provided 4 booster packs to start the event.  When the draft starts the players will open one pack and chose one card from the pack and than pass the remander of the cards to the person on their left.   They will than choose another card from the cards handed to them.  This will be done until all 4 booster packs have been "drafted".  Players will than build a 40 deck with the cards they drafted.  There are some special rules that go with draft, your deck may include any number of different inks, and you may have more than four copies of a card in your deck.

This is a family friendly event focused on have fun, please keep this in mind during the event.
