The event will cost $50 per person. This fee will cover the day of gaming and prizes.

LIST BUILDING

Armies will be built to a limit of 2000 points.
Players must build a battle forged army, following the rules set in the rulebook for matched play restrictions.
Legends will not be allowed for army construction.
This event will be using list building guidelines from the Leviathan mission pack.
The rules cut-off date for this event will be March 9th, 2024. No rules released after this date will be in effect at this event.

Conversions and custom models are acceptable for this event. Proxied models are not. If in doubt, please contact us before the event.

GUIDELINES & TERRAIN FORMAT

-This event will be using the guidelines and changes set by the leviathan tournament companion, such as the changes to moving onto objectives and scoring conditions on certain cards.
-This event will be using GW terrain format and its guidelines as presented in the Leviathan Tournament companion.
-This event uses pre-placed terrain. Terrain should only be moved to fit objectives, and only as little as needed to make objective placement legal.
-First floor windows and doors are LOS Blocking.

PRIZING
Prizes will be awarded after round 3 has finished as follows:
Best General: The Player with the most wins/highest tournament points
This player will have their name engraved on a plaque and displayed in the store. They will also receive a plaque to take home.
Best Presentation: The player that scores the highest on the ITC Painting rubric.
Any players that wish to have their army painting judged should leave them set up on a table during lunch.
Favorite Opponent: The Player with the most favorite opponent votes.
After the 3rd round, players will nominate one of their opponents as their favorite opponent of the event.

The Twin-Linked tournament is aimed towards casual play. There will be 12 tickets available each ticket will cover both players in your team for this 3 game, 1 day, event.

Both players must be different factions. No faction keywords may be duplicated between the players on a team. The only exception to this are the “Imperuim”, “Chaos”, “Aeldari”, or “Tyranid” keywords.
Players must build a battle forged army, following the rules set out in the rulebook for matched play restrictions.
Missions will be from the Leviathan mission pack.
The rules cut-off date for this event will be March 17th 2024. No rulebooks released after this date will be in effect at this event.

• For all game purposes the two armies on a team should be considered separate and distinct entities (Including pre-game rules such as strategic reserves.) which share a deployment zone, command point pool, secondaries, and victory point total.
• Models in your teammates army are considered friendly.
• Each team will still only receive one Command Point per turn.
• Named Characters are still limited to one per army.
• Each team must select a single character model to be their warlord for their team.
• Your team-mates models/detachments do not count as part of your army.

Are you interested in playing Warhammer 40K? Not sure where to start? We may have a solution for you......"Warhammer School"

"What is Warhammer School?" you ask, it is a chance to sit down in an friendly environment to learn the basics of Warhammer 40K. You will be taught how to play by the store owner David Bibby, and his sidekick Jason. 

"What do I need to participate?" A rule book is helpful but not required. We will provide everything you need, including models you can borrow so you can learn the game. There is a $25 charge to this course. You will get dice, objectives, a dice bag, a tape measure, and a brain full of knowledge for your $25.

"Okay, I'm sold when is it, how can I sign up?" We are running this event Sunday mornings starting January 14th, with the last session on February 11th (there will be no school on January 28th for our Bitz Swap). Sessions will run form 9:30am to 12pm. You can sign up at the link below, or instore.

"Do I have to attend all the sessions?" The sessions are designed to build on each other. Ideally you will want to attend all the lessons, we will be unable to offer "make-up" sessions if you miss one. However, if you have to miss one you can still attend the rest.

Players under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by and adult taking the program.
