For years, a terrible rot has festered at the heart of Stormwind. While the young King Anduin Wrynn has ruled the kingdom, he has relied upon the counsel of the elegant and influential Lady Katrana Prestor, a trusted advisor who has quietly held considerable influence over the affairs of the kingdom. But beneath her noble appearance lies a far more sinister truth.
You have uncovered the deception. Lady Katrana Prestor is none other than Onyxia, daughter of the great dragon Deathwing and one of the most dangerous members of
the Black Dragonflight. For years she has manipulated Stormwind from within,
working to weaken the kingdom while hiding in plain sight. Now that her identity has been discovered, there is no time to waste.
You and your companions must make haste to Onyxia's lair and put an end to her schemes before Stormwind falls to her influence. Venture deep beneath the earth, battle the dragon's minions, survive the dangers of her hidden lair, and confront the
Black Dragon herself in an epic battle for the fate of Stormwind.
