What is included in each Pre-Release Kit?
Each Usurp the Shadow Throne Pre-Release Kit contains:
- 8 × Usurp the Shadow Throne booster packs
- 1 × 11-card Pre-Release promo pack
Pre-Release Promo Cards
What promotional cards are included?
Every Pre-Release Kit contains an 11-card Pre-Release promo pack. Within this promo pack is a 1-card slot which can either be an extended art Corrupted Corpse Token, or a Rainbow Foil Baalghor, Omen of the End hero card.
Rainbow Foil Baalghor, Omen of the end
On average, one in every twelve Pre-Release Kits contains a stunning Rainbow Foil Baalghor.
This is the only Rainbow Foil version of Baalghor available outside of the Marvel version found in booster packs, making it one of the most desirable cards available during the Pre-Release season.
Please note that distribution is random. The average insertion rate is approximately one copy for every twelve kits; however, this is an estimated distribution rate only and does not constitute a guarantee. Individual open rates may vary, including the possibility of receiving no copies per case of 12 Pre-Release Kits.
Is Baalghor, omen of the end playable during pre-release?
Yes, players whose Pre-Release Kit contains a Baalghor, Omen of the End Promo may use this hero during the Pre-Release event.

All other Pre-Release Kits contain an exclusive Rainbow Foil Micro Text Box Corrupted Corpse promo.

The Full Auto tournament is aimed towards competitive play. There are 18 slots available for this 1 day event. Scores will be submitted to the ITC using the Best Coast Pairings app.
REGISTRATION
The event will cost $35 per person. The fee will cover the day of gaming and prizes. To register, you can either:
Sign up and pay in person at the store OR sign up on our webpage's events calendar. Please include your FULL NAME, BCP EMAIL, and the FACTION you will be playing. If you do not have a Best Coast Pairings account, you will need to get one.
Payment will be required to secure your spot as space is limited.
LIST BUILDING
Armies must be built to 2000 points, using the army building restrictions from the Chapter Approved 2026/2027 Mission Pack.
The rules cut-off for this event will be October 31st, 2026. No rules released after this date will be in effect at this event.
Conversions and custom models are acceptable for this event. Proxied models are not. If in doubt, please contact us before the event.
Army lists must be submitted through the BCP app by 11:59 PM on November 11th, 2026.
GUIDELINES & TERRAIN FORMAT
This event will be using the guidelines and changes set by the Chapter Approved 2026/2027 Event Companion and will use the GW terrain format.

9:00 AM to 9:30 AM - Registration
9:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Round 1 on Layout A
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM - Lunch
1:30 PM to 4:30 PM - Round 2 on Layout B
4:30 PM to 4:45 PM - Break
4:45 PM to 7:45 PM - Round 3 on Layout C
REFRESHMENTS
Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the store. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the store.
BEST GENERAL: The player with the most wins/highest tournament points will win the Red Claw Championship Belt!
BEST PRESENTATION: The player with the highest scores on the Red's Choice Painting rubric.
FAVOURITE OPPONENT: The player with the most favourite opponent votes (after round 3, players will choose their favourite opponent from the day).
