Are you interested in playing Warhammer 40,000 but not sure where to begin? We may have the perfect answer for you: Warhammer School!
"What is Warhammer School?"
It’s a relaxed, welcoming environment where new players can learn the fundamentals of Warhammer 40K from the ground up. You’ll be guided by our resident expert, Chaos Dan, along with his ever-enthusiastic sidekick Jason, as they walk you through the core rules, how armies function, and the flow of a real game. Each session builds your confidence step by step, helping you go from curious newcomer to capable commander.
"What do I need to participate?"
Nothing but a willingness to roll dice and have fun. A rulebook is helpful but not required. We provide everything you need, including models you can borrow so you can learn without needing your own army. The course fee is $30, which includes a set of dice, objectives, a dice bag, a tape measure, and—most importantly—a head full of freshly forged Warhammer knowledge.
"When is it, and how do I sign up?"
Warhammer School begins Sunday, January 25th, 2026, with additional sessions on February 1st, 8th, and 15th. Each session runs from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. You can sign up online using the link below or register in-store.
"Do I need to attend all the sessions?"
The lessons are designed to build on one another, so attending the full series is strongly encouraged. We aren’t able to offer make-up sessions, but if you miss one, you’re still welcome to join the remaining classes.
Players under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is also enrolled in the program.
If you have any questions, feel free to chat with one of our staff—we’re always happy to help you begin your journey into the grim darkness of the far future.
